Every catalogue, magazine and book in our portfolio follows the same carefully managed journey. Whether it's a short run of notepads or a 624 page hardcover book, here's how we take a job from first enquiry to delivery.

1. Quote and planning

It starts with your quote request. You tell us the basics, such as quantity, size, page count and binding, and we'll recommend the most cost-effective way to produce it. If you're unsure about any specifications, that's fine. Part of our job is helping you choose options that suit both your project and your budget.

2. Artwork and pre-press checks

Once you're ready to go, you supply your artwork. Our team of Mac operators pre-press checks every incoming file to make sure it's suitable for print output. We look at resolution, colour settings, bleed, fonts and page order, so there are no surprises once the job is on press. If changes are needed, we can make artwork adjustments and prepare your files for production.

3. Proof approval

Before anything is printed, you'll receive a proof to review. This is your chance to check every page carefully. Once you're happy and have signed off, the job moves into production.

4. Production with trusted partners

Depending on your job, we'll produce it through our national or international print partners. Our offshore partner is ISO 9001 certified and has a large amount of press power, which reduces the risk of delays from machine downtime. Because they also have their own paper mill, paper shortages are far less likely to hold up large projects.

5. Quality control throughout

Our Quality Control Team monitors each job through the entire production process, not just at the end. We don't want to just meet your expectations, we want to exceed them.

6. Finishing and packing

Finishing brings the job to life, whether that's perfect binding, saddle stitching, hardcover casing, laminating, foiling, embossing or spot UV. Finished products are packed to your requirements, for example shrink wrapped in packs of a set quantity, ready for storage or distribution.

7. Delivery and beyond

Your finished job is delivered to your door. For clients who need it, we can also look after storage, inventory management and distribution, giving you one point of contact for your entire print supply chain.
